About the Event
Come experience a sound journey beneath the sea combining recordings of whales, dolphins and other marine life with live instruments including clarinet, singing bowls, melodic percussion and vocals. Â We will listen through high-quality wireless headphones for a fully immersive audio experience to support your highest wellbeing.
This experience is produced in partnership with the Monterey Bay Aquatic Research Institute based in Santa Cruz, California, who is responsible for creating the beautiful recordings of underwater life. Â Learn more about their work at: https://www.mbari.org/
Facilitated by Joshua Sam Miller, a recording artist, producer and sound explorer from Northern California, this experience seeks to build connection with our natural environment through sound. Â Joshua has studied the therapeutic benefits of music and sound on our collective health for the past 4 years and has shared his work at music festivals, retreat centers, conferences and intimate gatherings in India, Bali, Portugal, Australia and the United States. Â He believes in living a slow-life to allow the time to listen deeply to ourselves, our society and the natural world. Â Learn more about Joshua at: www.joshuasammiller.com
Please consider supporting our project by downloading our music. Â Your support will help ocean conservation groups we fund through The Ocean Foundation, the only non-profit organization protecting the Ocean. Â Learn More: https://oceanfdn.org/
